We have beautiful national parks which host the biggest annual migration of wildebeest in the world, and many of Europe’s birds during their annual migration during which time they come to Tanzania to breed.
See one of the wonders of the world; the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a herd of African elephants walking with their young, and a pride of lions stalking their next meal. To witness The Big Five in their natural environment is truly unforgettable and with us we are sure that you will be amazed.
Day 1: KIA to Arusha
Our guide will meet and greet you at the airport and you will be taken to Planet Lodge in Arusha town for relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Arusha toTarangire
In the morning, your safari guide will pick you up from your place of stay and start a drive to Tarangire National Park, which is known for its huge baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Its sparse vegetation makes it a beautiful and special location for any traveler, where up to 300 elephants can be found, looking for underground streams in the dry riverbeds. Here you will also see the giraffe, zebra and buffalo crowding the shrinking lagoons. You will enjoy an afternoon game drive with a picnic lunch and then drive to Tarangire Safari Lodge for relaxations and overnight stay.
Day 3:Tarangire to Lake ManyaraNationa Park
Today you will enjoy a day trip to Lake Manyara National Park, which is located within the Great Rift Valley. Lake Manyara boasts a spectacular setting, famous for its tree-climbing lions and soda-ash lake. The park also provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s bird life. The shores of the lake, encrusted with pink flamingo, attract more than 400 species of birds, many of them waterfowl or migrants. After your game drive, we’ll then travel the short journey to Hhando Coffee Lodge for overnight stay.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast in the Lodge, your professional safari guide driver will take you to one of the most famous game parks in Africa, The Serengeti!
The park is very famous and well known to host the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth – the great migration of wildebeest and zebra – the Serengeti’s vast plains are also home to a haven of other wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards and many other predators. On a wildlife point of view Serengeti is the haven of wildlife. Enjoy an evening game drive with dinner and overnight in the heart of Serengeti at Tanzania bush luxury Tented Camp
DAY 5: Full day at Serengeti National Park
Early in the morning you will start a game drive in Lobo area. Afterwards you will leave the park through the northern gate while having a game drive on our way with very good chances of seeing THE BIG FIVE. On this way we shall be able to see the connectivity of Serengeti and Maasai Mara landscape as we proceed to Lake Natron in the basin of the Great Rift Valley, a land where the Maasai stay close to their famous active volcano, OldonyoLengai.
In the afternoon we will make a walk to a natural shower (waterfall). It is also possible to drive/walk to the lake to experience the flocks of flamingos descend upon the lake during breeding season. Then overnight in Tanzania bush luxury Tented Camp at Serengeti National Park.
Day 6: Serengeti National park to Ngorongoro Crater
Get up at the crack of dawn for an early morning game drive in Serengeti and enjoy the sunrise at Serengeti National Park. After lunch, you’ll then leave Serengeti and go for the final game drive on the way out the park to the rim of Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s seven natural wonders!
We’ll descend the 600m high crater walls to the floor of the crater and get up close with one of Africa’s seven natural wonders! Enjoy a game drive and celebrate your tour with a final picnic lunch by the hippo pool at Ngoitoktok until the afternoon. Then drive to Eileens Tree Inn for relaxation and overnight stay
Day 7: Hadzabe and Datoga Tour
After breakfast, you’ll get the chance to visit the Bushmen tribe of Datoga and Hadzabe close to Lake Eyasi and learn about their culture and way of life.A tour will give you the opportunity to go along on a hunt, and experience their great hunting skills with arrows and bows, as well as enjoy some singing and dancing ceremonies. Then we will drive for overnight at Hhando Coffee Lodge
DAY 8: Walking & Bicycle Riding at Mto wa M’MBU
Today, we will have the best time for walking and bicycle riding at Mto wa M’mbu village to catch up with the true nature of the village and its view, meet and learn the culture of indigenous people. Then drive toOutpost Lodge in Arusha for overnight relaxations, dinner and over stay.
Day 9: Departure An easy drive to Airport for your flight back home/to other destination.
